Marco Avigo has been all around the world of wine, both geographically and professionally. He brings 25 years of experience to his position at Penne Restaurant & Wine Bar. He has worked in almost every aspect of the industry, from Djakarta to Texas and now he is making Philadelphia his home.

Avigo owned and operated the Ristorante Gallo d’Oro in Moniga, named “One of the Best Restaurants in Northern Italy” for five years in a row. The restaurant housed one of Italy’s finest wine cellars, and featured more than 400 wines and 78 single-malt Scotches.
