Mitchell Malnati is the East Coast Wine Manager and company Sommelier for Fig & Olive, which currently has five locations with another two locations opening in the next year. The restaurant's focus on Mediterranean and Coastal Riviera cuisine is highlighted by his selection of classic Old World wines with a few exciting New World selections. 

Mitchell began his fine dining career with Chef Gray Kuntz at Cafe Gray in NY's Columbus Circle before moving to the Upper West Side's Dovetail, a Michelin ranked restaurant owned by Chef John Fraser. In addition to education by fellow Sommeliers, Mitchell has also formally trained with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and the Court of Master Sommeliers.
