Check out our most recent somms on vineyards segment as we travel to the Finger Lakes region and visit Hermann J. Wiemer. Take a look while Caleb Ganzer tours the vineyards and barrel room with Fred Merwarth, winemaker and partner.
Watch while Caleb Ganzer talks with Christopher Tracey about the history of Long Island wines and this year's harvest at Channing Daughters.
Channing Daughters Winery, based in Bridgehampton, NY, produces around thirteen-thousand cases of wine and more than 30 different wines. These wines include such grape varieties as pinot bianco, tocai friulano, ribolla gialla, aligote, viognier and many more. Long Island wines have become increasingly popular both on a national and international level and winemakers like Christopher Tracey at Channing Daughters have a lot to do with this.
